“Schone kamer, alleen was de ventilator zo vies dat er weinig verkoeling van kwam. Schoongemaakt en daarna deed ie het wat beter. Wel nodig, want het was erg warm op de kamer. Boven het restaurant, met 's ochtends een uitgebreid ontbijt(warm en koud). Parkeren gratis achter het hotel. Alleen het wasbakje in de badkamer was superklein.”

“The Belfry is a unique old building with a first class modern interior. The room were very well appointed with alll the usual facilities one would expect from a high class hotel. The breakfasts were individually cooked and presented in a timely manner, with a wide and excellent selection to choose from. My card was overcharged at the front desk compared to the amount I was expecting as per expedia. When I advised the front desk they were was not particularly understanding or even believing. I had to show my expedia booking on my phone to be believed: the desk person mentioned there was a disconnect between expedia and the hotel systems, whatever that means. “airport hotels are normally a bad experience, this was just the opposite: spacious well decorated rooms, excellent beds, nice bathroom. Perfect standards! Of course you are in an airport zone with no restaurants, the highway close by and poor views on the parking, but you can walk to the terminal in 3 minutes. ”

“We cannot doubt that there was a lovely view from the back of the grounds overlooking the golf course. Unfortunately, it appears that the hotel itself is more of an afterthought to the golf amenities. Rooms are very dated and certainly in need of renovation. Bath robes not included in the room which proved tricky trying to get to the pool and back as you don’t want to put your clothes over a partially wet body that wants to just jump in the shower back in the room.
