“This a lovely welcoming home in a beautiful natural rural location. The bedroom (and the whole house) was very comfortable with antique furniture and a nice collection of antique nick nacks and art. The mattress on our bed was on the firm side which may not suit everybody. All in all it was a very nice change from the usual utilitarian spaces. The owner is very thoughtful and responsive, and the breakfast choices were healthy fresh and delicious.”

“Alrighty, the place had charm. It’s a manor house that was built in the late 1800s. David, the owner, was an engaging and passionate host, but gave the impression that he couldn’t be bothered to go too much beyond the expected. The room was charming! However, it’s an old building and it lacked modern amenities and the room was in an isolated part of the building.
