“Room, small, 2 twins beds stuck against walls, very dated, no restaurant even though it says it has, very dull and not inviting ”

“Beautiful location, lovely village and park across the road. Very safe for children to walk around the village. Though mine just stayed in the park. The staff at this hotel are very well mannered, attentive and successful in what they do regardless of obvious pressures. A bit disappointed there wasn't any danishes available before breakfast had finished at the early time of 930am. Plenty of cereals, toast and jams with plenty of coffee that you can takeaway”

“I stayed for two nights at the end of may and the first thing I liked was easy access well sign posted parking. The house itself is directly opposite the old castle with its impressive mote complete with moorhens and ducks with their baby ducklings. The house itself is a curious mix of antique and modern but is fascinating to look at. “The room was big with a well stocked tea tray. It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with a buffet style hot selection at the weekend and made to order hot choices weekday. The staff were welcoming and friendly.”
