The staff were welcoming and helpful at the front desk during check in, the breakfast area was clean and well stocked. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly

Beautiful room - spacious, comfortable and clean. Great bathroom and shower. Staff helpful and friendly, recommending a great place for food and a drink (The Barley House). Breakfast had good selection of food (not the best coffee from a machine but plenty of local coffee shops) however we did not like all the plastic/disposable plates, cups, spoons etc. Not nice to use and so bad for the planet!

Decent hotel with comfortable bed and reasonable shower Wi-Fi was very up-and-down which may affect some travellers. Decent but the hotel had a generally slowly sad and rundown air to it. Most notably lift was not working and the hotel doesn’t tell you that until you confirmed and paid on Expedia. I think this is almost unacceptable.
