“El tratamiento del personal muy bueno y acogedor. Todo en su lugar. Buen estado y limpieza de la habitación. Tenía bonita vista hace la calle principal, desde mi habitación. El hotel tiene un bonito bar. Y el barman muy bueno y atento. Buen hotel. Lo recomiendo.”

“We stayed at the Ropemaker for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its restaurant. We had a lovely king-size bed that was very comfortable. The room had a portable air conditioning unit that kept it very cool, which we appreciated. However, it is noisy at night. The outdoor bar area is super cute and has little cabanas that seat about 4 guests. We'll definitely stay here again.”

“Plug in sink jammed, couldn’t have a wash. So hot, no air conditioning. Shower was great. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. Next door was very noisy.”

“Lovely surprise! Our room was large, comfortable, and the decor was beautiful -- the photos do not do it justice. The location is perfect, right at the bottom of high street next to several historic sites and within easy walking distance of everything one would want to see in Winchester. The Japanese restaurant is fantastic. Make reservations as soon as you check in as it is not to be missed.”

“It is always a pleasure to stay here. The suite has adequate space for a couple. Very clean well looked after with en suite shower room. Food available in the inn - excellent, delicious Thai. Can either eat in the bar or restaurant. We just had to stay a night and have a meal on our way home from a tour round England.”
