“Quiet location on a small farm (29 acres) just outside Buxton. Very well equipped kitchen and good internet/wifi.
Friendly helpful owners who live on-site. Great location and a base for the Peak District walks plus there is a nice walk from Cowdale farm to King Sterndale. If you’re into climbing there is a rock face used by climbers less than 500 metres from the accommodation.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Curlew Cottage.
The location is great with fantastic views over the dales, although the weather was against us a bit.
The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. Everything we needed for self catering was provided.
The only thing we would have liked was a mattress topper as my wife and I found the bed a little firm, but that is personal preference.
We had the absolute pleasure of seeing the resident barn owl on a few occasions which was a real treat.

We had a wonderful stay at the Shooting Lodge. The lodge was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The peaceful setting, beautiful views, and wildlife made it the perfect place to relax.
The hosts were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. Nothing was too much trouble.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Shooting Lodge”
