“We didn't know where to pick up the keys at 1600hrs the bar was late opening, we was also waiting at the wrong Nook bar. Lack of information on where to wait. The bed was very comfortable, the sound of the river over the rocks, sent us to sleep. The bar was good, good selection of ales. Also we didn't have the breakfast, we thought it was expensive at £14 each. Location very hand for everything.”

“Bathroom had a good shower Worse thing about this hotel was the let down on the key card wouldn’t open door every time we went out If had been by myself I would have been very very worried we tried everything one lady from reception brought up a machine to try it BUT next morning back to square one. I was disappointed as it was for me to try this hotel for me to come by myself when I come back to Barnsley to visit my family”

“The room was very clean, breakfast was excellent, the only problem for me was the bar didn't open on Monday-wednesday. Well that's what the sigh said?? Apart from that it was a really nice place 👍 staff where very helpful”
