Outstanding in every respect. Wonderful friendly staff in every department. Wonderful food and clean, comfortable rooms with excellent facilities. Our stay was an absolute treat in every way. Ideal for our visit to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

The room was very clean and comfortable with excellent facilities.The staff,on our arrival and in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Our only criticism was the breakfast which was very minimal - simply one choice-no cereal/ fruit or toast included- nor a top up of coffee offered. Very disappointing for hotel of this standard.

Lovely hotel. Room was well appointed, clean, neat and very comfortable. The entire ambiance of the hotel was lovely. Understated opulence. However, let down, in my opinion, by the restaurant. Clearly a very popular spot and very large (but feels homely by the way it is spread around and compartmentalised (in a nice way) the food is expensive and simply not value for money. Fancy for the sake of fancy and barely adequate in terms of quality. Problem is the hotel is too remote to go anywhere else.

To staff were very welcoming and helpful, the property has obviously had significant investment, the quality of the rooms is excellent, the food in the restaurant is fantastic. The car park is huge, and they are waiting for new EV chargers to be installed.
