“It's a pretty setting and the room was clean. They seemd a little short staffed and, although the food was good, the tables were dirty and (bizarrely) the host told us the half empty restuarant was 'fully booked'. When we saw many empty tables, we asked the bar tender if it would be possible to order food and he was happy to oblige! Also, the lighting in our room was broken, the only way to have light was to keep the harsh overhead light on. The receptionist promised to send a service person but...

“I booked a one night stay at the Dakota as a stop on a way back home in Scotland from France. This was a good accommodation with everything that travelers could require for an one night stay. Room presented to be clean, beds comfortable, towels ready to be used and shower clean too. The only issue I had experienced was with the doors, which presented to be not sound proof, and people leaving other apartments late at night could be heard in the room me and my family occupied.”

“Beautiful entrance, bar and terrace. All extensions sympathetically mirroring the original house with modern facilities. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Comfy beds! The air conditioning was noisy but you could turn it off. Staff all very helpful. Overall a very good choice for a two night stay nearby local attractions.”

“Nice location, but VERY outdated. Stayed Friday to Monday, 1st 2 nights loud groups (Golfers) outside the building and through the hallways from 11pm to 3am both nights having a good time but got to the point where staff should of stepped in. Sunday Night was great very peaceful. Food was really good quality in the evenings but a very small choice, so wanted something different the next couple of nights so went else where. “Nice location in quiet village which was very handy for silverstone park & ride. Plenty of parking. Nice room with hotel overall having an oldy world feel. Staff were very friendly accommodating & helpful. Breakfast was included freshly cooked with good range of choices. “The hotel facilities are good. Bed is comfy, breakfast is nice. However I was attending a conference and had a parcel delivered 3 days in advance which was received by a staff member. When asking for it, they never found it. I was chasing the staff as i had to basically tell her how to proceed (contact the employee who signed up for the package and track it down, simple!).
