Vacations Close To Dolphin Mall

Pool dirty can't use, washing machine app went to another site and took out my money so I had to cancel card for fraud. Mostly troubling was the room smelt of epoxy because they tried to paint the bathtub. We could only use the toilet in the bathroom. Had to wash our face and brush teeth in the kitchen. No place to have a shower from Friday thru Sunday. We both had awful headaches and were nauseous due to the chemicals used. They offered us to go to Boca but we had plans in Deerfield and were not going to a $80 room, 5 minutes from where we live, when we were in an apartment at $133!. They said we could have a refund of $21. This is outrageous and a massive health hazard.. It looks very bad on Hotels.com also for allowing this service and treatment of who are basically your guests. In fact epoxy can cause massive issues as noted on health websites. 'Inhaling epoxy resin fumes can be dangerous, potentially causing respiratory irritation, headaches, and chemical sensitization. I don't think we should be charged the whole amount for this stay. It was not what was advertised and with the conditions being so bad we feel we should be credited for the stay or at least one day of the stay. What LowL have offered is basically insulting

First time here and everything was fabulous. Will definitely return Aljeandra was the nicest and most helpful person. She made sure our stay was perfect. That being said the other ladies at the desk were very friendly also. The staff at the beach bar were amazing. And the young man doing our umbrella at the beach was wonderful. The room was nice location was walking to Publix like a couple of minutes and other stores too. Safe area never felt scared at all day or night. Great security for the building

The hotel is good for the price. It has been undergoing renovations and the rooms are very nice as is most of the physical property. Only 1 elevator was working so waits could be long. The biggest problem was the lack of staff for the restaurants, the lobby bar and the pool. The staff that was there was excellent, but they were overworked and stressed. There was only 1 waitress at breakfast, not even a bus boy to help. It took 1:15 for breakfast. The food was very good when it arrived. Hopefully they get more staff as it has a lot of potential for a boutique hotel.

Very nice location. Old but well maintained.The hotel doesn't have parking but you can rent a space at the hotel across the street.

Another great pre-cruise stay at The Riverside. My wife and I chose this location for its walkability to restaurants and bars. The hotel itself has updated the rooms and though a micro queen is small it suited our needs just fine. The Golden Lion Pub in the hotel was a great place for a drink and the adjacent Hollywood Donuts was clearly the local hang out on a Saturday Morning. If you are looking for character then this is a great spot versus the big chains!

One day the shower temperature was cold. Also, they wanted to charge for checking in earlier when they had available rooms.
