Staff members were nice and friendly.. everything was good

The room was nice. It would have been much nicer if it would have been clean. The floor in the kitchen was sticky and dirty. Every counter top was sticky and or you could feel the grime and whatever was stuck to it. I thought it was really weird that there wasn't a trash can in the bathroom. I also thought it was weird after paying $400 a night that you make us take out our own garbage. The balcony was nice. I don't know what my upstairs neighbors were doing all night and morning but it sounded like they were dragging furniture across the floor. Arguing and carrying on. That ruined my stay. Also parking is really terrible especially with luggage and no way to get into the hotel from inside the parking garage and no visible directions.

The rooms were very nice. Clean and harbor view was excellent. The hallways didn't have an odor. The breakfast that was served in lobby was very good. I definitely will stay here again.

Lots of bugs in room, mold in bathrooms, broken vending, no breakfast, pool not clean

The parking was tricky to figure out and the are was a little sketchy. Room was large , comfy and cute

This property is very beautiful. We loved everything about it, and despite it being pretty busy, it was quiet and peaceful. Our only issue is that we had a lot of luggage for a very long trip across multiple states and there wasn't a whole lot of luggage storage in our room. Breakfast at the property in the morning was lovely and we enjoyed sitting in the living room and on the huge porch to read and enjoy the sunshine. We took a walk through the beautiful neighborhood to check out the other local mansions, too.

Room clean, matched what was advertised. For what was a fairly standard 2 queens hotel room, parking lot view, no outdoor space paying more than $400/night means I expect a little more: lots of cleanliness, amenities, and knowledgeable staff and service. The main things we like here are the outside hot tub, the spout court area amenities, and the shuttle availability for Canal Park trips. Second stay. My review is nit picking, but it's based on expectations for the price. At a lower priced place I’d let more of this slide. Lobby games area had all dead flowers, dead bugs on window sills, and flies buzzing around. Games/sports equipment outside are appreciated but pickleball nets sagging, lines need re-painting, court surface had ugly cement patch. What about advertising pickleball or pickup basketball games to guests? Website feedback form didn't work. Front desk staff seemed confused when I asked about room upgrades, said no eventually, and said no when asked about late checkout with no explanation on a Sunday in a seemingly not busy time period mid-summer in Duluth. Outside fireplaces and s'mores kits are nice, but all seats were occupied by adults drinking, no chairs available, felt unwelcoming with younger kids. Maybe a family time slot for s’mores? Pretty good place, but opportunities to improve on cleanliness, usage/resort style experiences for amenities, and extras/perks that make hotel guests feel special other hotels offer at this price point.
