"We had a nice visit to Aloni Villas in April, at the start of the season. First, the villa itself was very nice - new and maintained well. Each villa has a private pool and has pretty much everything you need. George is very pleasant and works hard to make it a nice stay. We visited in April, which was disadvantageous for a few reasons: 1. It was a little chilly. The heat pump units in the villas just aren't up to heating the place if it's cold. "This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs).
