"My daughter and I love onsens but we were very pleasantly surprised to find ourselves in an upgraded room that was spacious and had a peaceful view. The baths were clean, spacious and uncrowded. We especially liked the outdoor pool with it's tranquil views. We opted for the breakfast and dinner plan and were glad we did as we could just pop down in our yukata, We enjoyed the variety and quality of the buffet style fare. The hotel also offers good and very reasonably priced massages."

"A fantastic ryokan experience. We had a delux room with private bathroom. Slept on mats on the floor which was surprisingly comfortable. The onsen offered 2 small hot baths covered and open to outdoors. Breakfast was amazing, offering Japanese and American style cuisine. Had difficult time finding restaurants for dinner, not many choices and they fill up early. Walkable to most sights. "

"Absolutely wonderful room- king bed with private hot spring bath ( room 1127). Wonderful amenities, goodies, drinks in fridge, etc. spacious, clean, well appointed. Half board very fun! Discount tickets for Edo Wonderland. So much fun!! Only 30 minutes to Nikko sightseeing- we had a private driver take us around for the day. Highly recommend 3 nights! One to rest up, one to spend the day at Edo Wonderland, one to enjoy NIKKO. Very
