Smoke Free Hotels in Sichuan

"When we arrived at the hotel the reception asked us a series of questions, and then subsequently found no record of our stay. They then told me the "back stage" staff who is in charge of online bookings is on a holiday due to the 1st May Golden Week in China. They took multiple shots of my booking details off my phone, and made us wait for around 25 minutes for the rooms. "Great location, helpful staff and lovely clean room."

"Staff does not speak english and it is very difficult to get help and tips for the city. We had requested a non-smoking room with two twin beds however when we arrived at 1 am we found a smoking room with one bed. We were almost an hour insisting for a better room. Breakfast not bad but very little options for foreigners."

"This hotel is great for restaurants but the shopping and sights action is about 6 Metro stops away. Lack of English amongst the staff made life really difficult. it seemed harder than other places we've stayed at ! The food was at best OK and the breakfast (included in price) was purely Chinese and , whilst I knowe were in China , a cup of tea would have been nice."
