"Overall disappointing. The WiFi was the worst I’ve had in China. The room was very old fashioned. There was no shower curtain and the towels were very old and ripped. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. On our first night there was no hot water until 9.30pm which was very inconvenient as we weren’t pre warned, although we were given a complimentary breakfast when we complained. Finally the driver arranged by the hotel to bring us to the airport was terrifying, driving c140km per hour...

"We stayed in a private twin room, with ensuite bathroom. Everything was basic, but considering the price we paid and the standard of accomodation in mainland China, I'd say the stay was of good value. Pros: - Close to Drum Tower, subway, local bus stop, and shopping streets - Walking distance from Muslim Quarter - Reasonably clean - Wifi accessible in the room - Helpful staff Cons: - Shower temperature is not hot enough for cold winter - No handheld shower head. The waterfall shower...

The location was near to several famous places in the city: the Bell and Drum Towers, the city walls and southern gatehouse, Huimin Jie. And the price was great!"
