"A boutique hotel in the old centre of Santa Cruz. The décor is a blend of hipster and mid-century modern, with very modern touches. Great staff. A real standout was the breakfast, cooked to order with fresh produce and fantastic bread."

"El Pueblito is a unique property in Samaipata. Views of the city below are great. All rooms are decorated with different themes related to the buildings of the little town. In the lush gardens peacocks and horses roam freely. The food was just OK. Service was attentive. However, because of its location on the top of the hill, your need a car to move around. After rain, you even might need a 4x4 to reach the hotel. Anyway, I still think is the best place to stay in Samaipata."

"The hotel was a bit dated but ok. Not really worth the price for the room. There were better options nearby that were better value for the cost. The location was ok and thw Wi-Fi was good. There were a couple of English options on the TV which was a bonus given other places did not have any. The breakfast was ok, more continental. You could walk to the Plaza del 24 Sep."

"The hotel was “closed” we booked, took a taxi there and the business was shuttered.. Had to find another hotel. This was appalling, how can a shuttered up hotel appear on hotels.com as available to book. "
