"Alta Traful wastes the opportunity it has to provide guests with an experience as unique as the lake it is situated upon. The room was basic and bathroom (tiny sized) had taps either leaking or falling of. Parking is not enforced so vehicles were parked irregularly making it difficult to park our own — I took a photo & asked reception to get the truck moved but she did nothing. "A lovely little lodge with quaint, rustic decor but excellent amenities. The room was clean and spacious, the beds were comfy, and the heated pool was very nice. It's a little outside of the "touristy" village, but that's a bonus if you want some peace and quiet. They even prepared our breakfast a little earlier for us as we were hitting the road early."

"The rates on website was higher than asked to be paid on the desk. The staff cannot speak english so if you cannot speak spanish dont even try Wifi dose not reach the rooms and most communal zones. Breakfast is very pour and if you wont be there very early you wont find clean table, plates, or some food would run out of stock. Overall, the place is not bad to saty, the rooms and the pools are good but for this prices you can get better options around."
