“He estado alojada otras veces en este simpático castillo. Esta vez tenía que ir a ayudar a mi hijos a instalarse en la universidad de Bangor. Dos dias antes me vino una obstrucción intestinal y todo el dolor que conlleva. Sigo ingresada en el hospital y he pasado días muy difíciles. Entiendo que aunque era una reserva prepago, se trata de una causa de fuerza mayor, pero ellos no lo han entendido así. Me han cobrado el 100% de la reserva sin ser utilizada. Lamentable gestión. ”

“Lovely hotel. Car park was full so had to wait for a space. Breakfast was lovely. Good selection of Hot & cold foods to choose from. Had Sunday roast beef dinner. Partner had sea bass. Plus a cheeky dessert. Good menu for food & drinks Really fab food. Staff where very smiley and friendly. The Grand stair case was amazing. Room was very clean Great views over the mountains and water. Bed was very comfortable. Over all great place to stay. Fab location. Definitely go back.”

“The staff were all positive, friendly and helpful. A standout feature of the hotel. Choices of restaurants was good, but book the Inn. The hotel restaurant less busy but still great food and service. If you have the opportunity do book a sea view room, it just adds to the experience.”

“This is a very friendly small hotel we used when walking part of the Anglesey coast path. Our room was clean. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was excellent. The owner was very helpful giving us information about our walk. We will come back.”

“The portion sizes were very generous and the food delicious- would highly recommend you eat here if you’re staying, and the breakfast is equally massive. The staff are lovely and I was greeted by name in the morning (which I’ve never had in a stay anywhere, especially as I’ve an unusual name) which made me feel welcome. “The ground floor room was very convenient for access with our dog. The whole place was always kept clean & tidy. Superb cooked breakfast every morning & the evening meals that we had were also excellent. Staff were all very friendly & helpful. The bar / pub area had a very good atmosphere, with locals drinking & eating there as well as motel guests. A two minute walk to a great beach. We will definitely return.”

“Lovely staff and excellent location. Rooms look as though they have been recently refurbished. Cold breakfast selection not as good as it used to be but good variety of cooked breakfasts on offer. I found the restaurant very cold in the evening but fine in the morning. Plenty of supplies in the room, tea, coffee, water, biscuits and toiletries etc.”

“Generally clean room but we did find a dog biscuit under the sink while we were there……and we didn’t have one with us. It was during a heat wave and had to sleep with the window open even though a fan was provided, this made it a little noisy at times. Good breakfast and all staff were friendly and in the main, helpful. Only received a “that’s not my job, see the bar staff” once on one of the evenings.”
