“The new owner was sweet and helpful and staff was outstanding! They booked us a taxi to our ferry and a truly wonderful breakfast was included in our room. Beautiful and old school charm! Tonight we are in a horrible plastic hotel that is completely overpriced and tacky. ( a Hilton)The comparison is dramatic, The anchorage hotel in Holyhead is a jewel!”

“He estado alojada otras veces en este simpático castillo. Esta vez tenía que ir a ayudar a mi hijos a instalarse en la universidad de Bangor. Dos dias antes me vino una obstrucción intestinal y todo el dolor que conlleva. Sigo ingresada en el hospital y he pasado días muy difíciles. Entiendo que aunque era una reserva prepago, se trata de una causa de fuerza mayor, pero ellos no lo han entendido así. Me han cobrado el 100% de la reserva sin ser utilizada. Lamentable gestión. ”

“I enjoyed staying here. It was lively and colourful. Some of the staff were very attentive. Breakfast was very good, and options excellent. It was dog friendly! The parking was good for us as the area was brilliant for playing with the dog on the grass. Beau Maris is a beautiful place to explore. Two things about the room, tight to get round the bed and we needed binoculars to see the tv, so it didn’t matter that there were not many channels to watch.”

“Disappointed that TV didn't work, nor was there a radio. Also room didnt have a lock apparantly as the room was designated as a fire escape. The good points were the breakfast and cleanliness and bed comfortable.”
