"What a wonderful stay. When I first arrived, my initial room had a nasty smell, but the lovely team quickly moved me to an exceptional suite which quite frankly made my week. We had dinner at the hotel as well, and the food was wonderful, as was the service. Highly recommend a walk around the stunning gardens. They are very well kept and make for a lovely morning activity. Thank you very much to the team for making my stay such a pleasant one :) "

"Sunday dinner was excellent, fish perfectly cooked and well presented, chicken tender and succulent with veg and a huge Yorkshire pudding. Desserts sumptuos, all washef down with decent Pinot and Armagnac. Penthouse accomidation is worth the premium for glorious views east and west, space, kingsize bed and bathrooms as well as formal dining space. Service from each and all staff was impeccable."

"This is an absolutely gorgeous boutique hotel, in a prime location midway between The Southampton airport and the cruise terminal - about a 15-20 minute taxi ride from each. Our deluxe double room was just lovely - large, spotless, beautifully decorated, gorgeous bathroom. Decorated as nicely as I wish my home was! Very quiet (a small highway is close by, but you’d never know it), pleasant and helpful staff, and an extremely charming restaurant on the grounds. I can’t say enough about the...

"Very pretty pub with rooms in a gorgeous riverside setting. Accessed across two walkways across the river, the pub is cleverly designed and decorated, making the most of its watermill heritage. The staff are very friendly and keen to help. Our room was bigger than expected and well equipped, and supper in the conservatory overlooking the river was impressive. Breakfast too was perfect, the wonderful staff really adding to the experience. Well done team. You hit all the right spots."
