"The hotel is a gorgeously renovated abbey on the edge of the old town center of Beaune. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Betty we felt welcome and relaxed. "It’s a cute property—small and quaint. The breakfast area is a cute alcove down in a basement whose surroundings look like a cave. Too cute. There’s kinda like a spiraling stairway down and then up again so a person with severe disabilities may not be able to partake in the complimentary breakfast unless someone fixes a plate and takes it upstairs in the lobby area. Did not like that there was no refrigerator in room for my meds and no ice machines. Clerk had to get me a bowl of ice from...

"Friendly lovely athmosphere shabby chic with emphasis on shabby ... room was very musty smelling and shower drain blocked ... slight sense of impoverished neglect. Very bizarre dinner for Burgundy. Asian veg wraps with soy dipping sauce followed by poussin with rice and ... soy dipping sauce. Then really murky pud: some kind of stodgy cake. Not good. Nobody ate it. Nice ice cream. Delicious bottle of Bordeaux at good price. "
