"The staff were wonderful and much more helpful and friendly than the management. The room was wonderful and the food was good. It is further from the beach than other reviewers indicate but they have a very inexpensive tuk tuk service available. The pool is small but fits the bill when it is hot out and you don't want to go to the beach."

"This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. We all loved it. The staff, the grounds, the pool and the food were all excellent. Nothing was to much trouble this is a home away from home that makes you relax as soon as you arrive. Should have stayed longer and would recommend to any one of any age. "

"The staff was unfriendly at check in, which I have never experienced on my trip through Sri Lanka. It was all about charging the credit card as quickly as possible. The rooms need to be renovated, especially the bathroom, looks a bit outdated and not well maintained. "
