We loved our stay at The Long House!

We stayed 4-nights in a beach view room on the first floor. Room was a good size and well appointed with large patio area for relaxing. The property had lots of relaxing lounges including library and a small gym. The pool had sun loungers that could be transferred to the beach if preferred. Pool was lovely and refreshing after walks along the beach. Direct access to the beach, across the local railway line (local train passes around once an hour - this didn’t impact our stay at The Long House). Walk into Bentota via the beach was about 20-minutes or 5-minutes in a Tuk Tuk. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We loved our stay.

Had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. The hotel is very airy and stylish with beautiful ornaments and art. The staff were very helpful with good attention to detail. All the food was cooked to order freshly and was delicious. I would definitely come back and recommend without reservation.
