You can pick it apart if you are that type but being from the US for what i paid i was extremely satisfied with the establishmnet. The area around the hotel might not be great for walking at night for some people, i would say it seems safe to me but im 6,1 man. I dont think a yone would bother you...

"You get what you pay for, it’s cheap and near the airport. A bit dirty, and doesn’t have certain things you might expect (eg. a safe, tissue paper, shampoo, etc). I couldn’t arrange the airport shuttle for my arrival, and the shuttle is a paid service (costs about 100k IDR, so it’s cheaper just to use Gojek). The food was great though, and the staff was friendly. "
