Delgany Vacations

We arrived at 2am to the hotel and were very tired after delayed late flight left us hardly any night to sleep at all. We always chose Clayton Hotel for staying overnight when flying as the room is always so comfortable and quiet and we usually sleep very well. This time not so well as the window in the room was left open and we were awoken by lots of noise from flights as well as from nearby traffic. We were too tired to even check windows when we went to bed. We have to do that next time. Still preferred hotel by Dublin airport.

This hotel could have a lot of potential as its really stunning & has the traditional Dublin vibe. However, it wasn't very clean for me (dirty spoon in the mug (covered in food)) when the shower ran a really bad smell came up from the drain. The kettle only works if put in a certain position and the cold water takes a very long time to come through after running (10 minutes ish). Knowing the bathroom water likely comes from tanks (assuming, I think this is the case in Dublin) brushing teeth with warm water was not ideal. It was a great bed however, so comfy and not much noise so I slept really well. The facilities like the gym/bottle bar/coffee at the entrance are amazing so I would stay here again despite the above. Just small things that could be improved to make it amazing rather than being average.

Staff was incredible. So awesome and welcoming. Our room was beautiful clean and felt old school Ireland with a modern feeling. The gym and sauna incredible. The got rib pool was tip notch. Sophia He's the most's restaurant was beyond our expectations . The location and easiest to to travel within the city was perfect
