“Good location in Dartmoor after a day of walking. Our room was well equipped. Pub nearby served nice food and drinks. Right next to hotel you can take the Nun’s Cross walk, which is about 2 h. Saw many ponies, cows and sheeps on the way as well as beautiful landscapes.”

“We were a little disappointed with our stay and are surprised by the number of positive comments. What truly stood out was the hospitality: our hosts were amazingly friendly and full of engaging stories and helpful local insights. Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious both mornings. An ideal pied-à-terre for a Devon getaway—thank you so much!”

“Our first mini break away alone, in 13 years and it didn't dissapoint. Anne is the most lovely host, so organised, courteous and kind, nothing was too much trouble. We were a little hot in the small double room, however Anne quickly provided a fan that assisted well. Breakfast was very tasty and scheduled for a time to suit us. Anne was very accommodating to my intolerances and catered with alternative milk and yoghurt. When booking I was unsure if booking the pool would be inconvenient,...
