“The Kiln Hotel in Wakefield has the look and feel of a run down American Motel that has been abandoned several decades ago. Desperately in need of refurbishment it appears that the new owners have not made any improvements since taking over from Campanile Hotels. The room I stayed in for 1 night looked as if it had not been decorated for 20 years and still had a lingering odour of Cigarette smoke. “It was the worst hotel I have stayed in at least the last 15 years. No hot water in the morning, the bed was ancient, and no one in reception to talk to in the morning to share these complaints. The wifi barely had signal either. ”
