“During my 3 night stay during August we had an evening meal on the Sunday, whilst eating a number of flies constantly landed on our food,the same happened whilst eating breakfast the following morning. The breakfast was buffet style, uncovered and was inundated by flies on the food. I informed a member of staff of the situation, her reply was ' you get flies in the countryside'. “Lovely pub/restaurant with rooms in a picturesque small village. We had a great dinner and the service throughout our stay was fantastic (thank you Matthew). I wasn’t aware this was part of a chain at the time of booking but I shall be looking out for Butcombe Pubs in future.”
