“The food was very good and staff great. Grace was a wonderful server. The inn is certainly olde and genuine. Not a pretend olde . Rooms are very unusual with individual names. All are separate from the pub. Obviously the pub is the main venue for the local population. The room was modest size but had two TVs. The shower floods the bathroom. Not a big deal.”

“From the lovely welcome to leaving we could not fault our stay. Staff were fantastic and so friendly. The room was beautiful with lovely products in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The only niggle was the my husband said there was road noise in the early hours of the morning.”

“The hotel is not in Oxford, is actually 30 minutes drive from the actual city and just a few rooms have air conditioning. If you plan to come during summer, the rooms are quite hot.”

“Central position lots of restaurants and pubs to chose from. The hotel has a lovely entrance and room was beautifully furnished and kitchen was very handy. Did miss not having someone on site but check in was okay. Gardens need attention, needs a toaster rather then trying to cook toast in the grill in the oven it took ages.”
