“Stayed for one night, family of four. We were pleasantly surprised from the moment we stepped through the main door of the building. Were greeted with a big welcome in the cosy and beautiful lounge. “The bedroom was a wonderful, quirky room; spotlessly clean with the worlds most comfortable bed and pillows. We had a great couple of nights sleep in this quiet room. Although my preference is a shower the bathroom had a large corner bath which was good. The only slight downside was the rather noisy macerator fitted on the wastewater. “I couldn’t have loved this place more, great quirky rooms a real old pub feel with fantastic delicious food and great drink choices, a pleasant away from the woeful Madri and Carling most pubs now stock.
