“The Red Dragon is advertised as "Has Onsite parking Very Rare for location. That was the reason we booked it. When we arrived we discovered it has zero parking. The manager and staff apologised and advised where we should park. the town is short of longterm parking. We ended up spening a lot of time driving around and paying a lot for overnight parking. The rooms are fine. the breakfast very good, the Staff friendly and helpful”

“We particularly liked the way the staff treated us. We had a problem with getting to the hotel on time and were helped by Ema who also gave us a warm welcome.”

Cruzabas el puente y estabas en el centro de Kendal.Kendal un poco aburrido con horarios muy restringidos para comer.Cerca de la estación de autobuses para los lagos, bien comunicada.”

“Stayed at the George Washington in room 6 on 15th July. Room very nice and clean with tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer provided flatscreen tv and nice shower and towels. Had our evening meal here to very nice chicken madras and the homemade steak pudding washed down with some nice red wine. “The hotel is set in a beautiful location with stunning views overlooking Lake Windermere. The staff are lovely, efficient, and professional- we were even allowed to check in early and received a wonderful room upgrade on arrival! A few small improvements would make the experience even better: Cleanliness- There were a few spiderwebs on our ceiling that were missed during room prep.
