“I booked single rooms for me and my grandson. I am 81 years old and I was given a room with no en suite. To use the toilet I had to leave my room, go down about five steps, then few steps along corridor, then up two steps to a bathroom. I would not be able to do this in the night. “This place has an excellent location, the staff are very obliging. The whole place needs a facelift. Sheets that don’t fit the bed correctly causing it to be off the mattress in one side, the bathroom door needed new screws on the top hinge, we had to lift it to close it, the curtains were not connected at the top right hand side, this was a shame as this let the place down.”

“Great property and location. Loads of parking but I did find the gravel a bit challenging with a big motorcycle. Plan to stay again.”

“Beautiful grounds , lovely setting , little bit out of Douglas but everything was easily accessible , you do need a car! Staff are super and the hotel is sparkling clean . Food in the Bar/Lounge was first class ( not cheap ) service was very good . Brilliant Breakfast Buffet …nice views from the table . Would highly recommend this hotel .”
