“The Grosvenor is on the main street, with it's own car parking behind the hotel. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. The decor throughout the hotel was attractive and all the rooms well maintained. We had the Mayfly suite, which had a four poster bed, seating area and a large bathroom. There was a good choice on the breakfast menu. The attractive garden has plenty of seating areas. The location was perfect for where we were visiting. We will definitely return to the Grosvenor.”

The reception area was cramped and unclear — it wasn't obvious whether staff there were assisting restaurant diners or hotel guests. Once in our room, it was clear the space hadn't been updated in quite some time. “Perfect location for local pubs, cafes and restaurants. Stockbridge generally and the 3 cups in particular have a relaxed vibe. Staff at 3 cups very friendly. Very good breakfast and restaurant….simple food but well done. The garden in summer is very tranquil”
