“A warm welcome to the recently refurbished coach house. The adjoined pub offered tasty food. With a freshly cooked breakfast we were ready to enjoy the stunning countryside surrounding this delightful village.”

“We had a great welcome after walking all day on the Pennine Way. The room was comfortable, clean and met our every need. The evening meal was delicious and ample. We would definitely recommend High Force Hotel.”

“Evening meal was good quality but breakfast is basic. Make sure you have a key to access the pub after hours!”

“No acepten upgrades ni elijan la habitación 4 del interior del castillo, tampoco les recomendaría que se alojarán ,ya que mi experiencia en el no resultó positiva, luego me contestarán con algúna respuesta tipo, pero les aseguro que hay muchos castillos en Inglaterra mejores que este.”

“Lovely hotel in beautiful location in the Pennines.”

“Food was exceptionally good with great choice. Staff pleasant and helpful.”

“You don't get good feeling when you get into the room and there weren't shampoo/body wash (delivered next morning). There is no reception and a call to the hotel, it was received by property manager. She mentioned that we didn't had the reservation from Expedia but upon insisting, she found it and took 10 mins to arrive for letting us in. For the price, it's not what I had expected from the room & amenities”

“The room and cottage were great. Very peaceful location to stay and explore the nearby area, including Penrith”

“Great old English inn. Very friendly staff, good food and beers. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent.”

“Stayed during owners transition, that's why the kitchen served only breakfast and it was amazing! The same helpful staff. Short business stay, I visit a lot of hotels and I do appreciate smaller ones. Room had a nice design, comfortable bed and modern bathroom, all very clean and well kept.”

There are a few appointed disability parking spaces but there is additional space that can be used providing it does not limit the thoroughfare. A large parking area is nearby but involves a 5 min walk back. Check-in was handled well for our group although dining that night as a group required meals to be pre-selected to help the catering staff. Whist complying with this requirement, the actual meal service was sporadic with some meals...

“Beautifully decorated hotel with excellent food and helpful pleasant staff.”

“Staff could not have been more helpful. Home from home with super public areas and wonderful food. A gem we will visit again soon!”

“Es un hotel situado en un pueblo tranquilo en el centro del Muro de Adriano ideal para explorar Cumbria y Northumberland. Está bien comunicado por tren y autobuses. Dueños encantadores y buena carta de desayuno. Tiene unas habitaciones situadas en la parte trasera planteadas como un pequeño apartamento con entrada desde el patio. La parte baja es una pequeña sala y el baño. El dormitorio está en la parte superior. Es muy tranquilo y todo ayuda a relajarse y descansar tras las excursiones por...
