“This is a quirky hotel that ticks the boxes if you fancy something different,has a real castle feel,the staff here are tremendous,they will do anything for you without coming across as intrusive,we really enjoyed our night here and can’t wait to come back,my Parents have booked a 2 night stay here on my recommendation.”

“Loved the old 17th century beams in the rooms and the uneven floors. Property was very quiet - even with the Football World Cup semi-final on while we were there. Staff were all incredibly helpful and loved the breakfast. 100% recommend and would love to take my dog next time as they are very dog friendly (they get a sausage at breakfast!).”

“We had a pleasant stay the place was a little run down however the staff were great as was the food, it advertised a candle lit dinner but it was not, there was a pianist playing nice music though, we were a little disappointed at the end of our stay when they didnt tell us about the £35 service charge for the 4 drinks they served thought this was a bit naughty,”
