“The hotel is located on the beach and we arrived during the busiest time of the year- Cowes week and it was not easy getting rooms in any hotels . We booked 2 rooms for a family of 4 and we had clean sheets and clean bed . After paying £1900 for 2 rooms for 4 nights - breakfast not included, nobody at the reception after 5pm and no room service until asked was a huge disappointment. The staff are good but the way things are- it’s not going to attract more customers in the future. I had asked for...

“The staff were helpful as we arrived & departed early and allowed us to leave our bags in the office. The bedroom was pretty modern and well kitted out but the bathroom was rather tired and needs updating. They have live music till late in a Friday & Saturday night which didn’t bother us but just an FYI. Overall good experience & would recommend.”

“What a lovely stay run by a lovely couple. A quirky friendly B&B within easy walking distance of town ( a little up hill on the way back) Beautiful garden full of interest. A perfectly cooked breakfast in the morning made using good quality produce. Along with cereals, yogurts and juice. Homely and clean. You really felt like a guest rather than just another number moving through. They have two small friendly dogs but kept them out of the way for a guest who felt nervous around dogs....

“Lovely little gem right in the heart of Cowes. 5 mins walk to the Red Jet ferry. Lots of lovely cafés, bars and restaurants within 5 mins. A great find.”

“Situated in the heart of Cowes right on the High Street. We stayed here one night to attend a family party. It was perfect for 1 night, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The Anchor is a lively, popular pub serving local beers and weekly live music. The room had some ear plugs provided but we didn't need them, a nice thought though.”
