Vacations Close To Coronado Tidelands Park

The hotel was an older hotel, very pretty old brick building. The inside is a bit worn but comfortable. The rooms have all the amenities that you will need. The location is excellent, can walk to many different parts of the city with ease. Everyone we encountered was very nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

We assumed that this hotel would be as nice as Margaritaville in Florida, that was a bad assumption. We booked a one room suite, not a cheap room. Our first smelled like a broken sewer pipe, we lasted 20 seconds. Front desk gave us another suite, TV had to be replaced, the 4 chairs at the dinner table were all stained/soiled. I would not recommend this place.

The rooms here are small and there wasn’t a coffee maker in the room. The staff was awesome.

We were warmly welcomed by Vince who was friendly and most helpful. We did not partake in the breakfast but I could see that there was a selection of beverages, fruits, pastries and other items. The room, although small, was clean. The only downside was that the ac was loud so we just turned it off at bedtime. We also like the hotel location. Everywhere we wanted to go was within easy walking distance.

I have no complaints about the hotel but just cannot give more stars due to the location of the property. I wanted to grab something from CVS right next door and had to turn around and walk right back as the amount of homeless people and drug addicts in the middle of the day accompanied with the dirtiness and the smell…gosh…very unfortunate.
