“The building is an architectural delight and the gardens are very well maintained The staff cannot be faulted - from the wonderful reception staff, the restaurant and bar staff and the cleaning crew - all utterly professional, take pride in their job and oh yes it shows - what an impeccable stay.”

“Stayed in the quad room (2 Queen size beds). Good size room and quiet. Only down sides are that the bathroom can be cold as only heating is an electric towel rail and the heating in the room isn't really sufficient for the size of the room and takes a long time to warm the room up. TV signal is a bit patchy and glitches on some channels. Car park near hotel isn't big enough when it's busy but there is plenty of other parking further away. Also WiFi wasn't working when we stayed but was told that...

“We had a difficult time getting checked in, as there was no one there when we arrived and my US phone had a hard time connecting to the posted UK number. But the owner arrived soon and everything was great! The restaurant is very unique with lots of antiques, and the food was fabulous! Breakfast was made to order and fabulous!! I highly recommend!”
