Need umbrella to visit another beach closed to the hotel

Room was ok, nothing exciting. Bathroom was oddly shaped as you had to shut the door to open a drawer. We literally were placed in the last room so we needed to get a shuttle every time we left to go grab anything or at the main part of the hotel. Sometimes we had to call back because they were taking so long. Staff were nice, very helpful. Breakfast wasn’t bad. Lunch wasn’t bad. Dinners on site at the restaurants were not good at all. I’m glad we had reservations for the nights that we didn’t book a reservation. We had a problem with our room and they had to move us. They tried to offer us a basic room twice which I declined as it wasn’t better than what we had. They finally booked us at their other sister resort which was much better. Overall, it was ok.

The vast majority of staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was good, particularly at the restaurants, and the rooms were in decent shape although not without some minor signs of aging. The grounds and beach were meticulously maintained and the pools sparkling every day. We very much enjoyed the trolley service between properties; special shoutout to John who made both the trolley and our trip extra special. We rode the trolley extra just to catch a ride with him!
