“There was an issue at check in regarding our family room whereby the expedia booking info hadn't pulled through correctly to the hotel. I would recommend emailing the hotel after booking to reconfirm everything. The family room was a decent size, although towels were stained and the free mini's were half used. The pool facilities were lovely. The pool was a little chilly, but jacuzzi very nice and warm.”

“My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. “Really nice grounds and private lodges. Hot tub was lovely. The lodge could have been cleaner - the blinds were dirty, there was dust on the light shades and dirt around the edges of the rooms. The boiler worked but it didn’t seem to warm up the main living area. We ended up putting the oven on and leaving the door open. “We had a wonderful 1 nights stay on the way to Anglesey. Check-in was quick and efficient. The lodge rooms were warm and comfortable. The bar area had lovely decor (would have been nice to have been a bit warmer as it was a cold, wet, murky evening) and staff friendly and helpful. All drinks and food were very nice, all clean plates! Had a very quiet and comfortable nights sleep. An early swim and jacuzzi using the facilities followed by a very nice buffet and hot breakfast.
