This property is under renovation and consequently only 2 elevators were operational!! Is there a code violation??
This is a 52 story property and it took us 20 minutes or more to get to the lobby on more than one occasion! Guests were frustrated and once a physical altercation almost occurred when some guests tried to enter a full elevator. We stopped at every floor— guests were waiting to board an elevator.
I complained twice before asking to speak to management. The on duty manager apologized but seemed unaware that such a serious situation existed.
I am in the process of informing the NYC hotel code violation department and writing to the Millennium corporate office.
DO NOT STAY at this hotel!!!
