The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good. “I arrived 15 min early and they wanted to charge me 20 pounds for early checkin. Called for extra towels and they did not deliver. Went to the front desk to ask for towels and they said that they did not have any available.”

“The property was very clean and comfortable and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Just a couple of observations . If a client is using derogatory foul audible language aimed at women in the bar area they should be asked to stop by the manager/bar tender - it’s not pleasant to be subjected to this if you’re sitting quietly trying to enjoy your own drink . “Upon arrival the reception was not staffed (unlike the confirmation stating it would be between 3pm and 7pm), ringing the number noted on the front door we were confronted with a very annoyed woman stating that text confirmation would have been sent for security codes for the required doors (no email nor text were ever received through Expedia or directly). “Our stay at The Great Bustard in Salisbury was excellent and far better than we expected. The rooms were absolutely brand new, in perfect condition, and spotlessly clean. The food was beyond anything we anticipated—truly gourmet, Michelin-star quality, and every dish was delicious. Without a doubt, we would come back again. The service was outstanding.”
