“Good place to stay”

“Quaint property with rooms in the main building and in an outer building across a patio with table seating where we had a quiet, well-equipped, modern room. The Inn is a short walk to a scenic marsh and pond with fish/eel traps and a bench for savoring the peaceful view. The town of Stockbridge, about a mile away, is wonderful for window shopping (and purchasing!) and is the start of a beautiful picturesque 'marsh walk' through grazing cows and lovely pastures. “A nice hotel and helpful staff. I enjoyed my one nights stay at this property.”

“Very reasonably priced hotel between Winchester and Basingstoke. Rural location on the main road with a large free car park. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful throughout my stay. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The hotel is attached to a good sized pub with garden that has a good range of drinks and an extensive menu. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very attentive and eager to fulfill any request. A nice, very reasonably priced hotel I will certainly use...
