“The room at the hotel was lovely very clean and the staff were amazing but the dining experience left a lot to be desired. We were advised to book for what was described as a carvery type meal which we did but could only get one slot at 6.30 so booed that. We decided as there was such a long wait to go to the Knights tavern for a drink first and we saw the food being served and it looked really good so we asked if we could cancel the buffet and order there which we did and paid for the meal....

“When I arrived at the hotel there was NO PARKING available. Twenty spaces but none available! Also, hotel couldnt help with suggestions where to park. When I did check in, hotel staff were not presentable, looked tired and messy. Gave room key and quick instructions. Not shown to room. Carpet in the hallway disgustingly bad, very dirty, worn down and in need of repair. Was asked what time I wanted breakfast. Breakfast severed between 7 - 9am when suggested 8am hotelier pulled face and sighed....
