“We stumbled onto the Artist’s Residence, and fell in love with it. There room s are so cozy and so artfully designed and decorated. The staff was wonderful. They helped in any way they could. The pub is from another era, a wonderful era. The food is great. The other customers were friendly and interesting. Next time we are anywhere near the area, we’re going to be staying there.”

“beautiful grounds, lots of games, The mill is a modern building with a petite nice spa, very relaxing, Outstanding massages. We however were put into a room at the Old Swan, in itself a beautiful, characterful old pub. The room was sub standard for the price (270 for a superior double per night) cob webs everywhere, stains on carpet, tobacco debris in the drawers, a wardrobe that was in need of repair, display cushions that were worn, pilled and dated, above all the room was infested with dozens...
