Vacations Close To Cenote Secreto Maya

The only good thing about this hotel was the view of the ocean. The buffet was the same food day in day out. Got pushed into attending a "2" hour presentation for what I can only call a time share. (DO NOT SIGN UP ITS AWFUL!). When asked for cleaning service it was very inconsistent. They did not change the bedding (I noticed this because of black marks left by my suitcase). Front reception was only friendly when trying to get you to sign up for the time share presentation. We got offered a free excursion which turned out to be mostly about trying to sell you extremely overpriced jewelry. Once they noticed we were going to purchase anything the refused to let us keep perusing the store (we might have bought something but didnt get the chance) instead we were forced to sit in the waiting area for almost an hour for transportation. The elevators didnt work and would close super fast without giving you time to get in. The spa was extremely overpriced. Safe yourself the money and go ANYWHERE ELSE BUT SOLARIS!!!

The beach was def not the best. Otherwise would have given 5/5!! Lots of sargassum , which I knew was a risk going here. But no regrets ! Pool’s were fantastic!! Having a sister hotel next door with many more pools and restaurants was a def plus!!
