Férias de descanso

Estivemos lá durante 5 dias. O Hotel é muito bom e bonito. A praia é afastada e venta muito. O ideal é aproveitar a piscina do hotel. Passeamos bastnate na cidade amuralhada. Existe tranfer gratuíto que ajuda muito. A comida do hotel é gostosa mas as porções são pequenas. Quarto muito bom. O Hotel está passando por reformas.

Decepcionado

Tomando como base somente meu período de estadia no hotel, confesso que fiquei um pouco decepcionado. Vou listar aqui pontos que achei positivos e os negativos. Positivos: 1- Praia bem tranquila, praticamente particular. Exceto aos fins de semana, quando existe presença de pessoas fora do hotel. 2- Area da piscina muito confortável. 3- Funcionários simpáticos. Negativos: 1- O quarto que ficamos não era nada confortável. Não isolava luz, situação incômoda no banheiro por conta da janela ser translúcida e parecer que as pessoas do lado de fora poderiam ver vc tomando banho, além do quarto não ser silencioso. 2- As opções do cardápio são muito restritas, tanto para o café, quanto para o almoço, além de terem preço salgado para o que era oferecido. Apesar do café estar incluso na diária, praticamente tive que pagar outro café para incluir queijo e torrada no mesmo. 3- Não existe opção de água mineral, somente uma água engarrafada pelo próprio hotel. 4- A arrumação do quarto não possuía um padrão. Tinha que ficar pedindo reposição de itens de higiene pessoal, por exemplo. Teve caso de toalha remendada e rasgada sendo disponibilizada no quarto. 5- Os horários para transporte do hotel para o centro histórico são limitados (10am, 5pm e 9pm). A volta de jantar ou noitada no centro histórico só é possível de taxi (50k COP após 10pm).

Cozy little hotel

My experience with Hotel Karmairi was great! The staff were wonderful, the food was delicious, the cocktails were refreshing, the amenities were good, the room (premium) was perfect size for 2... the only thing I did not like was the balcony (the view was the parking lot entrance to the hotel.. it was an eye sore! My girlfirend and I enjoyed the relaxed environment, pool side and the beach. The hotel does have courtesy transportation to the city throughout the day, it was very hot (drink plenty of water).

Lovely small hotel on the beach

Karmairi was a lovely hotel/spa. It had a beautiful pool area and spa. The food was excellent. There was both an English and a Spanish menu but there were many items that were only listed in the Spanish menu. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They helped us arrange a few day trips and taxis. There was a shuttle which you could take to or from the old city of Cartagena 3 times a day It is a very small hotel with out many activities which was great if your main goal was to relax, but might be a problem if you are looking to be entertained. The beach was great to walk on and the water was warm and clean, but the sand was hard packed and grey and cars are allowed to drive on the beach. Children under 15 were not allowed at the hotel.

Un buen lugar para pasar unos días con tu pareja..

Cobran el Agua de la habitación por día, así no se destape la botella. Me pareció un acto bastante impropio de un hotel y lamentable. Faltando 10 minutos para el check out cortaron el servicio de agua del baño. Muy pocas opciones de alimentos para vegetarianos tiene el restaurante del hotel. El restaurante no tiene oferta de pizzas. Los postres también son muy limitados. La playa en general está un poco sucia de los residuos que dejan los visitantes. Hay aguamalas en el agua del mar por lo que hay que tener cuidado con tocarlas porque es doloroso el episodio. En general es un espacio agradable para descansar aunque deben mejorar mucho en servicio y tiempo de los pedidos, especialmente si te encuentras en la playa.

Great retreat,

It is a great alternative to staying in Cartagena, the setting and staff are amazing. You can get free rides into the old city. The food was great if a little spendy. 8 mill for bottled water The beach is nice, swiming fum but rough.The only down side: Durring the height of the sun,most every thing is in the sun, shady spaces go fast and some times are just camped out at even if the people are not aroun.

This hotel can not be trusted

I did not have a stay - I had a confirmed reservation via hotels.com but the hotel told me they had no rooms. They canceled my reservation but charged me anyway. Now they refuse to refund my money. This hotel can not be trusted.

magnificent spa but

The spa is very beautiful. The faciliteis are wonderful however. The food is not very good. The staff is amazing. Constantly trying to please. The pool is spotless and the spa facilities are wonderful. Towels should be placed by the pool for guests to take rather than having them locked up and having to have a staff member go find the key to unlock and give to the guest. There is a free shuttle to the airport for guests. A very nice touch. Once agin, we had a wonderful stay but

Relaxing!

I stayed here for 2 nights. I wasn't sure of the area of Cartagena and wanted something relaxing. The hotel was great. The staff was super nice, room was comfortable and breakfast was included! I loved the ambiance it provided. It isn't close to the center and you'd have to take a cab/shuttle there to go out at night. Great place to stay and highly recommend!

Perfeito para uns dias de descanso e relax a beira da praia , com todo o conforto dos serviços do hotel : toalhas disponíveis, serviço de bar e espreguiçadeiras com almofadas na piscina e na praia . A tardinha, pode-se aproveitar o spa com massagens relaxantes ou revigorantes. Para desfrutar do centro de Cartagena, prefira um hotel na cidade histórica. O hotel Karmairi fica bem afastado do centro.

4 Nights of Bliss

My girlfriend and I had a phenomenal stay at Karmairi Hotel & Spa. We enjoyed 4 nights at the hotel and took advantage of many of the wonderful services offered by the hotel like the spa, free transportation to the city and of course the beautiful beach. We arrived to the hotel and were amazed by the hotel room we were upgraded to. The room had a view of the pool and beach. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our room. We also enjoyed the meals at Karmairi. Make sure and try their ceviche, it is incredible. Their style was also great. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. My girlfriend even told me that this trip will be tough to beat.

Romantic Getaway

After getting married in Cartagena, my wife and I wanted to find a place to kick back and relax. We read good about reviews about Karmairi, so we decided to give it a try. Overall, we had a great experience. We took a nap on the beach, had a massage in the late afternoon, and a romantic dinner at night. It was just what we needed!

Nice concept but lacked in delivery

The hotel is great in concept with respect to the tranquil ambience and nature inspired decor. On our first day there was ongoing noisy construction on the hotel property that did not allow us to enjoy the pool, which was only cleaned upon our request. There were visible construction workers hammering and drilling within the main area of the pool. One qualm we had with the airport shuttle was that the hotel contracts a third party taxi to pick you up and although they agree that the cost is a certain quantity prior to your arrival, this was not the case. Due to a lengthy delay with TSA, that was beyond our control, we were delayed in exiting the airport. Upon arrival to the hotel in this taxi they sent for us, we were forced to pay double the agreed amount because of this delay. We could have contracted our own taxi for a much more reasonable rate or the hotel staff could have been much more understanding. However this was not the case and we were coerced into paying this substantial difference even though a prior rate was agreed upon. It was an unwelcoming start to our trip and with the additional construction it made our first day at the hotel quite unpleasant. We were not accommodated in the least, with neither complimentary upgrades or monetary compensation, for these inconveniences. Although this hotel has its charming elements of decor, the staff needs to educate themselves in better hospitality practices.

Far far far away from civilization. Not a 5 star hotel at all. Room very small. Bathroom uncomfortable. The beach is not nice at all. For a better price there are way better options in Cartagena

Nos hospedamos por 5 noches. El hotel es divino. Está decorado con muy buen gusto y las fotos lo muestran tal y como es. Es pequeño y privado. Justo para descanso al 100%. Llevar revistas o un buen libro que leer!
