“We had a lovely two night stay our room was large with a huge comfortable bed. It was in a great location, very central with parking at the back of the hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful, overall a great stay we would definitely stay here again when next in the area.”

“Lovely little quiet pub just outside Ripon. Room was close to car park (my wife has accessibility issues ) so made life easy. Very dog friendly even in bar (downstairs only, but thats fair enough) . “I have to admit that, in my case, I didn’t enjoy at all. Staff is so inflexible, I was in a business trip. Impossible to get a cold sandwich after 9pm (arrived at 9:07) no other options in town except an Indian. The hotel is pet friendly which I like but for the rest not an option for me. A pity because I was expecting something different. The rooms are fine but too many steps and a bit caotic ”

“Cashed in some one key points for night away . Took the scenic route from Gateshead and visited Richmond , Aysgarth Falls , Grassington and Thirsk on the way . Had a couple of beers in the beer garden , freshened up then a gorgeous meal in the orangery. So glad we had booked as they were turning people away ! The staff were excellent- friendly , courteous and attentive. Lovely relaxing night away , helped by the English heatwave .”
