Had a nice stay for our anniversary. Good suggestions for local walks. Wine and food was nice. It was a little disappointing that they did not do anything to mark our 10 year wedding anniversary and we had put a note on our booking. Drinks are quite expensive £6.50 for a pint/£10 for prosseco glass

A lovely home-from-home cottage full of character and in close proximity to the Durham Ox pub which is lovely. A nice retreat for a weekend away. Breakfast wasn't included but was available in the pub- we didnt get the chance to eat there but the menus looked impressive. Would stay here again!
