Vacations Close To Cape San Blas Lighthouse

Had a great stay.. wish my room had ventilation like a window open option or bathroom vent fans but overall a great experience

The location of the property couldn't have been better! Plenty of dining options-- and Walmart (because who goes out of town without making at least one trip to Walmart?) --within walking distance. More than that, though, was the property itself!!! Each bedroom had its own bathroom, the balcony was HUGE, and the kitchen was well equipped! Almost everything one could think was needed was provided from pots and pans to serving spoons and spatulas and everything in between, even a Keurig and coffee mugs! There was also dish detergent, a sponge, drying towels, and a dishwasher tablet. So, although we bought disposable goods, we didn't have to. If I had any complaints, it would be the parking. It was nice to never have to figure out where to park, as parking for the unit is assigned; but it's inconvenient for the disabled. From the assigned parking space, we had to walk up a ramp into the parking deck to access the elevator to the unit. Not a big deal for most of my party but a bit of a challenge for my mom who is disabled..... It wouldn't stop us from renting here again, though, as everything else was practically perfect! Upon arrival to the unit, I thought I had an issue (turns out I was at the building next door LOL), but my call to management was easily managed, and they assisted me with very welcoming vibes. All in all, I would say that this was one of my better stays at PCB.

For a last minute, easy beach, getaway it was good. The bathroom needed updating but otherwise for price and expectations was good. Friendly staff. Bar and food onsite was unexpected. Daily bfast/waffles were super yummy!

We decided to extend our vacation an extra night and chose this place as a budget friendly option. I should have taken a little more time to look at reviews. To start the room wasn't ready until about 30 minutes after our check-in time. Key cards were a constant problem, fridge didn't work and the place was run down. The deadbolt didn't latch and the chain on the door looked like it had been busted off a few times and rusted over. Constant slamming doors all around and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Good luck trying to rest after you search for parking but hey I guess it is steps from the beach. Much better options for relatively the same price with better beach access. Don't follow in our footsteps and take the extra 5 min to do a little more research and avoid this trailer park-esque place or just make the trip back home. Very poor representation of PCB. Excluding this one night stay we ultimately had a great experience at our original reservation.
